St. Louis, IL – 28 August 2020 – Solerity hosted its 2nd Inaugural Benefit Golf Tournament to support the St. Louis House Foundation in their mission to provide “A Home Away From Home” to the families and caregivers of our military men and women during their time of need. Solerity raised more than $3,500 during this event, more than eight months’ worth of relief and care for a military member and their family.
The tournament drew 84 golfers from the St. Louis/Scott AFB area including, local sponsors of the event: SuprTEK, AmeriPak, Ironhorse Resources, Accenture, TEK, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Grey Eagle Distributors. Special thanks to our volunteers that helped make this a success: Larry Buck, Vivien Grgurich, Kris Wise, and Greg Schwartz.
The St. Louis VA Fisher House provides comfortable and convenient lodging for military families and caregivers free of charge when a family member is undergoing treatment at the Jefferson Barracks or John Cochran Medical Center. It is available to all families with a member who has served or is currently serving in any branch of the military, no matter how long they served. This home allows families to stay together as they face difficult and stressful times.
As part of our Corporate Outreach, Solerity has multiple committees focused on the cultural, business, social, and societal issues we face as a people. We are honored to serve our military families as part of our initiatives to support the communities that support us.
