St. Louis, IL – 26 April 2019 – In keeping with our commitment to support the communities that support us – military personnel, veterans, and their families – Solerity hosted its inaugural fundraiser golf tournament to support the St. Louis Fisher House.
Located at military and VA medical centers worldwide, the Fisher House Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides “a home away from home” to families and caregivers of our military men and women in their time of need. Since 2010, the St. Louis VA Fisher House has been providing temporary housing for hundreds of veteran and active duty military families – free of charge – when a family member is undergoing treatment at the Jefferson Barracks or John Cochran Medical Center.
Fisher House enables families to stay together during these stressful periods to aid and accelerate fast recovery and collective healing. The free facilities are available to all families with a member who has previously served (or currently serving) in any military branch – no matter how long they served.
Sixty-four golfers drove, ironed, and putted across the links to support the Fisher House, including Solerity CFO, Dan Muse and Vice President, Gary Polston from our McLean, Virginia headquarters and Greg Schwartz, Vice President, of our St. Louis office. In Dan’s words: “It was a great event. Fisher House is an outstanding organization that greatly impacts countless warfighters and their families every day. Solerity is proud to support such a fantastic cause!”
Our communities are as important as our clients and reaching out to organizations such as the Fisher House Foundation gives life to our commitment to helping those in need.
