On April 24th Solerity (Revolution Technologies) hosted its 8th annual benefit golf tournament to raise support for the St. Louis Fisher House which is a non-profit organization established to provide “a home away from home” to the families and caregivers of our military men and women during their time of need. To date, this event has raised over $48,000 supporting the St Louis Fisher House, which at an average operating cost of $400/family/month equates to over 120 family months’ worth of support for veteran families.
This year, we set a record $10,528.13!
The St Louis VA Fisher House provides temporary housing for military families, free of charge, when a family member is undergoing treatment at the Jefferson Barracks or John Cochran medical center. It is available to all families with a member that has served or is currently serving in any branch of the military, no matter how long they served. This home allows families to stay together during one of the most stressful periods in their life and hopefully will allow them to recover faster with loved ones nearby.
